Before establishing D&G Vietnam and VinaForest in 2005, he was a researcher in Vietnam Centre for Economic and Policy research for 10 years. Mr. Dat has had collectively 20 years of experience in manufacturing, project and finance management experience
Professor – University of British Columbia in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering
Dr. Sokhansanj’s major professional contribution has been to biomass harvesting, drying, and densification to produce energy and bio-based products. This research has resulted in the development of a highly successful modeling environment IBSAL (Integrated Biomass Supply Analysis & Logistics). He has also developed a commercial pellet/cube durability tester “DURAL” for in-situ quality assessment of densified forages.

Ryan received his M.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Idaho, where his thesis focused on the analysis of several proposed bioenergy projects in northern Idaho and western Montana. Ryan’s work has primarily focused on the analysis and optimization of logistics for bioenergy projects, with an emphasis on lignocellulosic projects.
